In ATLust V2, interactions between characters works through three ways. Teases, play, and sex. In order to perform these actions, you must be within 5m of your target. Click your targets name on the "Nearby Player" list and you will be presented with a menu of actions to perform on your target.
Teases can be done to anyone regardless of partnership status, but may fail if the target character is not attracted to yours (Only you're informed of this if a tease fails, the target will be unaware). A successful tease will increase your target's lust. Play and sex actions require a partnership and do not require attraction. Using play actions consumes lust and increases the targets arousal. Using sex actions increases arousal, but also requires a certain arousal on both your partner and yourself to start. Unlike tease and play actions, sex actions do not create arousal immediately, but instead increase it overtime and will continue running until stopped. While both play and sex actions increase arousal, only sex actions will trigger climax when 100% arousal is reached.
Teasing other plays increases the recipients lust at the expense of your own lust, and does not require partnership status. The target must be attracted to your character in order to succeed. Both you and your target will see the tease message if successful. Since lust is required to perform play actions, teasing can be useful to increase your partners lust so they may perform play actions on you.
Play actions require you to be partnered with the target. These actions do not require attraction, but do require lust. Playing with your partner increases their arousal at the expense of lust. These actions are useful for getting your partners arousal high enough to perform sex actions, just keep in mind that arousal drops quickly! If the organs the play action uses are in use by a sex action, do not exist, or if there is insufficient lust, the action will be grayed out.
Sex actions increase arousal, some increase both your partner and your own arousal levels, others only increase one. Unlike play actions, sex actions do not immediately create arousal. They work over time and will trigger climaxes when a partner reaches 100% arousal. They also do not consume lust, but instead of arousal requirements depending on how much arousal they generate and whether or not they're penetrative. Sex actions must be manually stopped. They will also stop if you or your partner move out of the 5m range limit.
On the menu to choose a sex action, you will see various symbols:
● Indicates that the sex action is being performed by you.
○ (Not grayed out) The sex action can be performed
○ (Grayed out) The sex action cannot be performed because either one or more organs that are required are already in use by another action, OR, you or your partner do not have enough arousal (One or more of the heart symbols shown below will indicate who doesn't have enough arousal).

♥ You don't have enough arousal.
🚫(Grayed out) The sex action cannot be performed because you or your partner lack the organ required to perform it.
Once a sex action is selected, you will be presented with a menu to choose your organ, and the one on your partner that you wish to use. Just like the previous menu, this one also has symbols to indicate the organ status.

🚫 The organ is being use by you with a different action, or someone else is using this organ.
○ The organ is available.
A player reaches climax when they reach 100% arousal and a sex action is active (The sex action must be giving them arousal). If a penis or ovipositor is being used, the player will be presented with a dialog to choose what they want to do; Pull out, cum inside, or if available, knot their partner. The dialog only lasts 20 seconds, and a failure to respond to it will default to cumming inside. Climaxing will return the arousal to 50%. However, if the knot option was used, the sex action will be locked until arousal drops to 20%.
This mode requires permissions. Once granted, you and your partner will be able to cum or oviposit without having to perform sex actions. This allows for self-paced RP without having to rely on ATLust arousal or lust stats, it however does not count towards earning titles or satisfying desires. Everything else still works the same; Pregnancy, species transformation and STD's. Auto-RP mode can be enabled in the "DTF" menu (Automatically accepts RP Mode requests). Just be wary that it could be abused by others as it doesn't require any input on your part.
In ATLust, it is easy to find partners. There are two primary ways: Visiting Breeding Grounds, and searching P.E.N.I.S. (Profile Exploring Networked Introductory System).
This is the most direct way to find a partner. Breeding Grounds are designated hangout/sex areas for ATLust players to visit. Being on these grounds also gives a small stat boost to your character. Go to the "Breeding Grounds" tab on the website to see a list of breeding grounds, it will also show the number of players present. You can also see the list in the "Breeding Grounds" menu on the HUD.
(Profile Exploring Networked Introductory System) is a list of all adult characters in ATLust (One can opt out if so desired). It provides players a way to find characters that fit their preferences. Many players have more than one character, and PENIS is capable of listing all of them, even if they aren't active. This provides a much higher number of options for those searching for a partner when compared to just visiting clubs and hangouts. However, to protect anonymity, PENIS does not list the player name or contact info. Those seeking a partner must use the built-in messenger in order to contact other players. The messenger only shows character names.

Characters with stingers can inject their partners with venom in order to create certain effects. (Note: Unlike venom in the real world, in ATLust, venom is not poisonous and instead creates effects such as making the victim more aroused or fertile) Characters can prevent others from injecting them with venom by choosing the "No Venom" option in the character preferences.
In order to use stings/venom, the giver must have sufficient lust and partner permissions. The receiver must not have the "No Venom" option enabled.
